Not a golfer? No worries! We still want you to be involved! We have a wide variety of sponsorship and volunteer opportunities, many of which are specifically for you. There are sponsorships that don’t include golf, but they provide an excellent platform for you to promote your business to a wide range of community members. These sponsorships are a key part of this event, allowing us to impact even more children throughout Africa.

You are the Key!
One of Key of Hope’s foundational programs is “Kidz Klub,” which started in 2008 with 17 children. Today, Key of Hope is a flourishing ministry, with over 2,000 children attending each weekend. For many children, it serves as their first encounter with Key of Hope - some come just to receive a meal, while others are invited by a friend - but each child leaves with a promise of hope through a safe environment, games, and a Bible lesson, all made possible by Key of Hope’s incredible staff.
Because of the generous support of our sponsors, who help make this event possible, all proceeds directly impact children in Africa - including those supported by your foursome.
Each foursome sponsors 21 children to attend our weekly Saturday Kids Club for an entire year!
Kids Club is the starting point of lifelong discipleship relationships, helping children believe they have hope and a future. Your participation in this event is key to making that possible!
FAQs
What is a scramble?
In a scramble format, teams are made of 4 members where each person hits their ball throughout the match. After everyone tees off, players choose one spot to play off. This process continues until the ball is holed at which point, that score will be used for the team.

What if I’m a beginner?
This event is open to anyone! All ages, skill levels, both men AND women! No matter who you are, we would love for you to join us!
How will the day go?
Registration and breakfast start at 8:00am and at 8:45, there will be a brief presentation from Dan Smither and our presenting sponsor before a shotgun start at 9:00! Then you can golf to your heart’s content, enjoy lunch at the turn, and have fun before returning to the clubhouse for dinner at 2:30pm!
What will breakfast be like?
Breakfast will start at 8:00am along with registration. There will be coffee, tea, juices, fruit, and a variety of baked goods.
How about lunch?
Lunch will be served at the turn and you will have an option between a hot dog or hamburger, along with chips and a fountain drink.
What is included for dinner? Do I have to stay for dinner?
You don’t have to stay for dinner but we encourage you to because there will be a delicious buffet with salad, ravioli, a choice of two entrees, and an assortment of cookies and brownies. During dinner, we will also announce the day’s winners and draw raffle winners so we would hate for you to miss out!
